Sore forms the Final Major Project of my Masters in Fine Art with Falmouth University. Its aims are:

• To address the issue of the gender pain gap in the UK (Nurofen 2023, eclinicalmedicine The Lancet 2024); 

• To give women (anyone who identifies as female) an opportunity to share their experiences in an anonymous but collective way; 

• To gather these experiences and share in the form of collages, drawings, a film and zine which will be shown at a public exhibition and online through the artist’s social media and website; 

• To challenge the way women’s health is addressed by medical professionals and provide women with useful guidance when approaching healthcare professionals about their concerns.
